This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which Darshtech ("we", "our", or "us") processes refunds for the DocuMate Windows Application and purchases made through darshtech.in.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By purchasing a DocuMate licence, you agree to this policy.

1. Products Covered

This policy applies to the following DocuMate products purchased through our official website:

  • DocuMate Pro – Annual licence at ₹399/year
  • DocuMate Ultimate – Annual licence at ₹599/year

The free version of DocuMate requires no payment and is therefore not covered by this refund policy.

2. Eligibility for Refund

2.1 Standard Refund Window

You are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of your original purchase date, provided that:

  • You have not exceeded 7 calendar days from the date of purchase
  • Your refund request is submitted to support.darshtech@gmail.com with your order details
  • You have not violated the Terms and Conditions of the software

2.2 Technical Issues

If DocuMate fails to function due to a technical issue on our end, and we are unable to resolve it within 7 working days of your support request, you will be eligible for a full refund regardless of when the purchase was made.

2.3 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Requests made more than 7 calendar days after the purchase date
  • The licence has been transferred or shared with others
  • Refund requests due to change of mind after the 7-day window
  • Violation of the Terms and Conditions
  • Partial refunds for unused portions of the annual licence period
  • Purchases of renewal licences (once renewed)

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Email us at support.darshtech@gmail.com
  • Step 2: Use the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Order ID]"
  • Step 3: Include in the email:
    • Your full name
    • Email address used for purchase
    • Order ID or payment receipt
    • Reason for refund request
  • Step 4: Our support team will review and respond within 2–3 business days

4. Refund Processing Timeline

Once your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of approval
  • The refund will be credited to the original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, etc.)
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3–5 business days to reflect in your account
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated

5. Cancellation Policy

DocuMate licences are annual subscriptions that do not automatically renew. There is no automatic cancellation required.

  • At the end of your subscription period, your premium access will simply expire
  • You will be notified via email before your subscription ends, giving you the option to renew
  • If you choose not to renew, your account will revert to the free version
  • No cancellation action is required from your end

6. Failed or Duplicate Payments

If you are charged multiple times for the same order, or your payment was deducted but no licence was issued:

  • Please contact us immediately at support.darshtech@gmail.com
  • We will investigate and process a refund for any duplicate charges within 3–5 business days
  • Include your payment screenshot or bank statement showing the transaction
